下面的消息就不那么让人开心了，昨天看到这样一条新闻：Placebo part company with drummer steve hewitt。在录制第一张专辑时形成的组合维持了11年，如今终于到了分手的时候。Brian曾经接受采访时说把乐队的另外两个人看作他的"my two husbands"，对于分手他的回答同样是："Being in a band is very much like being in a marriage, and in couples - in this case a triple - people can grow apart over the years. To say that you don't love your partner anymore is inaccurate, considering all that you've been through and achieved together. There simply comes a point when you realize that you want different things from your relationship and that you can no longer live under the same roof, so to speak."
Brian和Stefan会在明年录制新专辑前找一名新的鼓手加盟，这是很怪异的事情，因为一直以来喜欢的都是这三个人的组合，换人后的Placebo怎么都不是原来的Placebo了。
