真正爱上 Placebo 是从看了他们03年巴黎现场的 DVD 开始, 应该绝大部分人到现在都依然坚持那是 Placebo 最出色的一次现场, 这张 We Come in Pieces 是 Battle for the Sun 全球巡演的收官演出, 歌单涵盖了迄今的所有专辑:

几乎包含了所有我最喜欢的歌, 不知道等我真正能现场看到他们的时候还是不是这么幸运. 喜欢 Placebo 大约7年的时间, 感觉生命就像一次次的轮回, 从 Meds 开始到结束有一个女朋友, 从 Battle for the Sun 录制到他们巡演结束有另一个女朋友, 不知道下一张专辑的时候又会是怎样. 期间他们来了一次中国, 换了一次鼓手, 在每张专辑中都尝试了新的风格, 拿了一次欧洲 MTV 最佳另类乐队奖, 生活总在不停的变化之中, 唯有 Soulmates Never Die.

Anyway, Placebo 明年又要录新专辑了.

好歌就是用来翻唱的, 等到快四分钟终于有人声了. 以前不喜欢军鼓, 不过最近听 Explosions in the Sky, 因而印象大有改观.

半个月没有更新日志，水一下。

感谢文科浩，专门给我电话确认是否要帮我带这张 Once More With Feeling，好吧，虽然我已经有了，但一般有不同的版本我还是会收的。

其实，我还在惦记 Battle For The Sun 的 Deluxe Box...

买了 puff 收费版就要好好利用, 在 youtube 上看到这个视频, 不得不赞叹 Placebo 的 acoustic 版都很赞.

看到 Placebo 新 live 阵容的时候注意到这个女人: Fiona Brice. 她在演出中的角色是键盘, 小提琴, 背景 vocal. 在 Wikipedia 上查了她的资料, 原来早在 Meds 这张专辑里, string 部分就是她完成的, 最新的 Battle For The Sun 亦然. 更让我惊讶的是, 她的领域非常多样, 除了 Placebo, 和 Simply Red 以及 Westlife 也有过合作; 同时她还是新古典乐手, 确实是一个多面的才女.

今天又在豆瓣上看到这个消息, Fiona 之所以会加入 Placebo, 是因为很久以前 Brian Molko 在酒吧看到她拉小提琴, 当时她所在的乐队叫 Dream City Film Club, 这个乐队有一张专辑叫 In The Cold Light Of Morning, 恰好和 Meds 那张专辑里的一首歌同名, 一年前我在东大那里淘碟的时候, 经老板推荐买了这张专辑的原盘. 话说东大那个店还行啊, 北极猴的前两张专辑我都是在那买的, 手上的第一张 Meds 也是在那买到的.

发一个视频, Meds 双碟版的 DVD 里的, Placebo 在温布利表演的 20 Years. 这首歌现在是俺娘的手机铃声; 上次和老婆在湖南路听到一家店在放; 此外, 是我个人的 Placebo 五大金曲之一. 特别喜欢开头 Stefan 弹贝斯的镜头, 建议大家有机会看 Placebo 今年在科隆演唱会上的那首 Follow The Cops Back Home, 也有 Stefan 弹贝斯的特写, 很有感觉.

最后声明, Placebo 的歌词太合我心水, 我爱他们扭曲的情歌.

梦与日记: 英国两位电影研究员关于 Nanni Moretti 电影的分析. 我从儿子的房间开始喜欢 Moretti 的电影, 他另外一部亲爱的日记拍的也很有意思, 而两个四月让我知道 Moretti 是贝卢斯科尼的反对者, 他在电影的末尾, 用费里尼的手法把贝卢斯科尼描绘成一个独裁者.

Placebo. Meds. Specail Edition: 虽然已经有了 Meds 的原盘, 但还是买了这个 2CD 的特别版, 巧合的是, 即将发行的 Battle For The Sun 被 Brian Molko 称为是 Meds 的反面.

这几天读到听到了一些关于这个国家的阴暗面, 甚至忍不住又一次愤青起来. 冷静的想一想, 我们只能选择过好自己的生活, 如同 Brian Molko 在 Battle For The Sun 的纪录片中所说: 选择光明, 选择走出黑暗, 并不是说要背对黑暗, 因为它必然存在于那里, 无法回避, 甚至是每个人的一部分, 但是我们可以选择站在阳光下. 这就是 Battle For The Sun.
